What We Learned From Tech In 2020

What’s up, all? Just for fun, I wanted to put together some of the tech lessons that 2020 taught us.

– Apple laptop webcams are BAD
– Whether you’re on Microsoft Teams, Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, or anything else, you’re probably on mute
– There’s always one person that never appears on camera…
– … there’s also always one person who’s mic is too loud…
– … it’s always the same person
– Taking your full hour lunch break as a nap is a game changer, but now your sleep cycle is completely screwed up
– You never realised how slow and unreliable your work laptop is until you no longer have an IT department to call
– “You’re on mute” is the new “how was your evening?”
– Your electricity bill looks like a bank code
– Despite not having a commute, you find yourself just as exhausted at the end of the day
– While we all want the world to go back to normal, we’ll miss being at home just a little bit, even if it’s just because we’ve been spending time with families.
