Final Fantasy 7 Remake Review

If you’d told me back in the nineties when I was playing Final Fantasy 7 on my original PlayStation, that I’d be reviewing a full remake of the game for a national newspaper, I’d tell you that you’d gone mad – but, here we are.

FF7 has had a huge impact on my life. It’s the first JRPG I’d ever played, and it’s morally grey characters remain just as relevant today as they did 23 years ago.
