Another Life Update

Hey everyone, how’s it going?

It’s been a while since I’ve put together a blog post, but since they seem to be some of the site’s most popular content, here we are!

In truth, there’s nothing particularly exciting going on at present. The process of selling our home has been slower than we’d hoped, and that’s meant we’re less inclined to keep looking until ours is sold. Still, all in good time.

I cannot stress how excited I am to be able to wake up and work in a room that isn’t my bedroom. I’m not even kidding, my desk feels too small now with all the stuff I use for work and the same four walls are making me feel a bit stir crazy – particularly in a lockdown scenario.

When it rains, it pours, and the lockdown has stopped me hitting the gym. I then began running again and… yep, some kind of tendonitis in my right leg means I’m going walking for the foreseeable future.

Still, work continues to go from strength to strength. As you may have seen, I was able to review the Xbox Series X.

When I came into the industry in early 2018, without any real content to my name, I would never have imagined being able to review games for a living, let alone an actual console.

Meanwhile, Jackson is 18-months-old tomorrow. EIGHTEEN MONTHS. I can’t believe it’s gone so quickly and means we’re one-twelfth of the way to his eighteenth birthday…

Just a short blog today, then, but wanted to let you folks know that I’m still kicking, just itching to move house and get a little bit of space for my family to grow into.
